Breaking news – a source that this publication has previously used in Spain has suggested that Premier League leaders Manchester United have submitted a deadline day offer for Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo.
Although there is no secret in United’s wish to bring Ronaldo back to Old Trafford, rumours of an offer earlier in the transfer window did not come to fruition.
