The ECHO also asked supporters how much money the Reds should demand for Coutinho. Over 52% of respondents voted that Barcelona should pay £150 million or more for Coutinho. The player’s contract runs until 2022, and he just signed a new contract in the winter of 2017.

When Liverpool fans were asked which player they wanted as Coutinho’s replacement, nearly 45% voted for Monaco’s Thomas Lemar. Over 20% of voters selected Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez and nearly 9% voted for Borussia Dortmund’s American wunderkind Christian Pulisic.

While fans have had their say via the ECHO’s website. Plenty of fans and members of the media have expressed their thoughts, news and opinions on Coutinho through social media.
