5 all out attackers for FPL Gameweek 13

premier league, fantasy football, fpl, fantasy sports

It is all out attack for Fantasy Premier League gameweek 13. Last week, FPL’s top forward Diego Costa put in another sensational shift, racking up nine points. Ten FPL points separate Costa and second place Jermain Defoe. Can the Sunderland man narrow the gap in FPL Gameweek 13? Can your fantasy side top the competitions? Get one of these forwards for FPL gameweek 13 and hopefully they will.

Diego Costa – Chelsea

Games: 12; Goals: 10; Total FPL points: 82

Costa has scored in Chelsea’s last three matches. In fact, the Chelsea hitman has only failed to score in three of the Blues’ matches all season.

Chelsea may be playing Tottenham and their stingy defence in gameweek 13, but the bullying forward will be a handful for Spurs. He should have his hand in any Chelsea goal on Saturday.

Jermain Defoe – Sunderland

Games: 12; Goals: 7; Total FPL points: 72

Defoe has scored in Sunderland’s last three matches and the once hapless Black Cats have won two of those fixtures. After going winless in their opening 10 matches, Sunderland have won back-to-back games; and they are just a few points shy of escaping the relegation zone.

Sunderland head to Liverpool on Saturday, which doesn’t bode well for Sunderland’s win streak. However, Liverpool have allowed the most goals of any team in the top five. Based on form, Defoe is a solid choice for FPL gameweek 13. He could lead Sunderland to a shock win at Anfield.

Salomon Rondon – West Brom Albion

Games: 12; Goals: 4; Total FPL points: 50

Salomon Rondon broke out last weekend with a nine point return after averaging two points per game over his last five.

Rondon has back-to-back games in which he can shine and lead West Brom up the table. This week, Rondon’s West Brom play Hull, a team that have given up 27 goals in 12 matches. Rondon is a solid forward choice for FPL gameweek 13 thanks to his form.

Harry Kane – Tottenham

Games: 7; Goals: 5; Total FPL points: 45

Back from injury, Harry Kane is in fine form for Tottenham. Last weekend’s two goal performance against West Ham reminded everyone of his importance to Spurs’ title hopes.

FPL gameweek 13 may see Kane up against Chelsea, but he will have every chance of getting Spurs all three points in front of goal. Spurs need Kane to continue his fine play to win on Saturday.

Sergio Aguero – Manchester City

Games: 10; Goals: 8; Total FPL points: 63

Sergio Aguero has been up and down in Fantasy Premier League play all season. After his 16 point haul in gameweek 11, Aguero has declined in points in consecutive weeks. Facing Burnley this weekend, Aguero should pick up another sizable tally for your fantasy side.

Burnley gave up four goals last week against West Brom, a team with a fraction of the attacking fireworks Manchester City possess. Aguero and City’s high powered attack should do even more against Burnley in FPL gameweek 13.
