Fantasy Premier League gameweek 32 tips for success

All week, FantasySports.co.uk has been suggesting the best buys for the English Premier League’s gameweek 31 and Fantasy Premier League gameweek 32. With less than 24 hours to go until the weekend’s action kicks off when Tottenham host Watford, let’s look at a few tips to help FPL and daily fantasy sports managers.

Are Chelsea back to their best?

Chelsea’s dominating performance against Manchester City made the team look like the Blues we saw earlier this term. But four of the Blues’ top players – Diego Costa, Gary Cahill, Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso – have declined in their point production over the last four to six weeks. Costa’s last three games have seen the forward score just three points total.

While Costa has struggled in FPL production, Eden Hazard has excelled, scoring five, 11, five and 13 in his last four matches. Hazard can continue is form in Fantasy Premier League gameweek 32 as the Blues play Bournemouth. The Belgian tallied 10 points the last time out. Make him a captain or vice-captain this gameweek to bathe in the points.

Abel Hernandez can’t do it again

Abel Hernandez was the FPL surprise of gameweek 31. The Hull forward was player of the week as the Tigers leapfrogged Swansea in the relegation fight. The Uruguayan is second in Hull’s list of most expensive player purchases and has had mixed results since arriving from Serie A’s Palermo. Hernandez’s has only scored eight goals in 45 Premier League games for the Tigers, but last weekend’s performance was massive.

The big question is whether he can do it again in Fantasy Premier League gameweek 32. The simple answer is no, and that isn’t just because he is fighting injury. Only twice this season has the forward has scored in double digits. Hernandez didn’t play against Manchester City the last time the two played, and if he is fit for Saturday’s game, he won’t equalise the performance of midweek. Be sure to bench him for Fantasy Premier League gameweek 32.

It’s all about Zlatan

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is the most captained player going into Fantasy Premier League gameweek 32. Manchester United take on Sunderland and should have no difficulty putting the Black Cats away. Ibrahimovic tallied 15 points the last time the two sides met.

If it wasn’t for the Swede, United would be much further down the table than they currently are. Ibrahimovic has 16 of the team’s 43 goals. Jose Mourinho’s side are currently eighth in scoring behind some big hitters like Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester City and surprise scoring package Bournemouth.

Ibrahimovic should get on the score sheet again this weekend, and if he is in your Fantasy Premier League gameweek 32 team, he should be your captain.
