FPL Gameweek 33 Forwards and Game Changers

Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Romelu Lukaku are regularly on our Fantasy Premier League forwards’ shortlist. The two have been studs throughout the FPL season, and there is no reason FPL gameweek 33 forwards lists shouldn’t feature both. Or is there?

If you are looking for ways to improve your daily fantasy sports team or FPL side, then you must get Lukaku in your team. Ibrahimovic isn’t so clear cut, and we’ll tell you why. FantasySports.co.uk will also tell you which other FPL gameweek 33 forwards make a case for inclusion.

FPL Gameweek 33 forwards to buy

Romelu Lukaku – Everton

Total FPL points: 199; GW 32: 13 points

A two goal performance against Leicester made Lukaku the third highest points scoring in FPL gameweek 32. His two goals helped Everton come from behind to beat the Foxes and strength a case for a mega-money transfer this summer.

Gameweek 33 sees Everton take on Burnley at home. Lukaku tallied five points against Burnley the last time they met, picking up an assist. With the form he is in now, he should score at least five points again.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic – Manchester United

Total FPL points: 163; GW 32: 12 points

We told readers to make Ibrahimovic your captain ahead of gameweek 32’s clash with Sunderland. He only delivered in the contest tallying 12 points with a goal, assist and clean sheet.

However, think twice about Ibrahimovic’s FPL gameweek 33 forwards inclusion. Manchester United have a much more difficult match as Chelsea come to town. If you were going to sit Ibrahimovic, this could be the time to do it, especially after United play Anderlecht in the Europa League three days prior.

Sergio Aguero – Manchester City

Total FPL points: 133; GW 32: 9 points

Sergio Aguero has turned it up in the last four gameweeks, which is why we’ve put him in our FPL gameweek 33 forwards list. Aguero has tallied six, seven, eight and nine points in his last four against three of the Premier League’s top sides – Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea.

With City’s focus on getting into the top three, Aguero should be good for another solid points return against Southampton.

Diego Costa – Chelsea

Total FPL points: 166; GW 32: 8 points

Diego Costa has been far more miss than hit in recent gameweeks, but against Bournemouth he put together a tidy performance. He only scored two points against Manchester United the last time the two sides met, but taking on Jose Mourinho’s side after a Europa League midweek clash should favour the Chelsea forward.

M’Baye Niang – Watford

Total FPL points: 2; GW 32: 36 points

M’Baye Niang has shown flashes of brilliance since arriving at Watford in January, and the youngster is full of potential points. Watford play the worst defence in the Premier League (Swansea) and Niang’s pace can cause the Swans’ back four a wealth of problems. If you’ve got £5.9 and you don’t need to shake-up your side too much, give Niang a nod.
