FPL Gameweek 34 – Romelu Lukaku Leads the Line

Gameweek 34 will see star forwards Harry Kane, Diego Costa and Sergio Aguero out of action due to the FA Cup semifinals at Wembley at the weekend. But the gang will join the fun in the middle of next week, which gives you a chance to still select them for gameweek 34 FPL.

Romelu Lukaku is now a fixture in our weekly top 5 forwards list, but who else should you select this week for gameweek 34?

FPL Gameweek 34 forwards to buy

Romelu Lukaku – Everton

Total FPL points: 205; GW 33: 6 points

Last gameweek’s six point return wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t the double digit weekly performances we’ve come to expect from Romelu Lukaku. I won’t be taking him out of my FPL side for gameweek 34, and you shouldn’t either.

Everton have West Ham away and the Hammers have conceded the fourth most goals (59) in the Premier League this season.

Marcus Rashford – Manchester United

Total FPL points: 65; GW 33: 8 points

Marcus Rashford just pops up at the right moment to score goals for Manchester United. Like the modern day Ole Gunnar Solskjaer or similar to Javier Hernandez; Manchester United have a secret weapon in the kid.

Rashford was the most transferred in player for gameweek 34. Rashford has scored in each of his last two games. Only £6.5 for this week, Rashford won’t set you back much.

Harry Kane – Tottenham

Total FPL points: 165; GW 33: 12 points

The Premier League title fight is on, and Spurs have a chance if things go their way. They need help, but Harry Kane is doing everything he can to get the team to the title.

Twelve points last week made Kane the highest scoring forward. Crystal Palace are next and Kane will have a chance to improve on his five point FPL showing against the Eagles from earlier this season.

Fernando Llorente – Swansea

Total FPL points: 110; GW 33: 2 points

Not too long ago, Fernando Llorente was one of the hidden gems of FPL. He and Swansea have really fallen off in recent weeks. The team are winless in six and Llorente hasn’t scored in that time; and he has only played in four of those matches.

Swansea host Stoke in gameweek 34 and the team are desperate for a win to keep them up. Llorente has potential for big things.

Troy Deeney – Deeney

Total FPL points: 122; GW 33: 2 points

Troy Deeney and Watford clash with Hull in gameweek 34, a team that has given up the second most goals in the Premier League this season.

Deeney has had a very good season in FPL, although he has been inconsistent in recent gameweeks. At £6.9, he is a worthy inclusion for gameweek 34 based on the competition Watford have in front of them.

He won’t be a player to keep around with Liverpool and Everton up in the gameweeks that follow. If you have him already, start him. If you need another option at forward, draft him in.
