FPL Gameweek 35 – Midfield Scorers

Gameweek 35 arrives after a long gameweek 34, and finding midfield scorers to get the goals is vital as the Premier League season comes to an end. Eden Hazard had a great gameweek 34 and once again showed his class. He’s in our top 5 midfield scorers, but who joins him for gameweek 35?

FPL Gameweek 35 top 5 midfielders

Eden Hazard – Chelsea

Total FPL points: 202; GW 34: 9 points

Chelsea took another big step towards the Premier League title with a win over Southampton. Hazard’s nine point performance was another in a long line of great FPL returns this season.

Chelsea face Everton in gameweek 35, but finish the season with four fixtures that should be seen as easy wins. Hazard is a must for the rest of the way in your team.

Josh King – Bournemouth

Total FPL points: 153; GW 34: 8 points

Bournemouth’s Josh King has been a pleasant surprise this FPL season as the Cherries have excelled for large parts of the Premier League season.

King returned eight points in gameweek 34 against Middlesbrough as Bournemouth won 4-0. The Cherries face off with bottom of the table Sunderland in gameweek 35 and King is one of the Premier League midfield scorers that you should consider drafting, if you haven’t already.

Philippe Coutinho – Liverpool

Total FPL points: 138; GW 34: 7 points

Philippe Coutinho has been steady over the last five gameweeks. His seven point performance in Liverpool’s 2-1 loss to Crystal Palace wasn’t his best, but it was solid for any fantasy manager.

Liverpool face Watford in gameweek 35 and the Reds need to win to keep pace for a Champions League place. Just three points separate Liverpool and fifth place, so the Reds must avoid another loss.

Wilfried Zaha – Crystal Palace

Total FPL points: 135; GW 34: 2 points

You never know what you are going to get with Wilfried Zaha, and he makes our top 5 midfielder scorers list on sheer potential. Crystal Palace face Burnley in gameweek 35, a team Zaha tallied five points against last time the two met.

Andros Townsend is a solid alternative to Zaha if you cannot get the nippy winger. Townsend had a six point performance the last time the two teams met. Get on them both if you draft on potential with your daily fantasy sports team.

Dele Alli – Tottenham

Total FPL points: 194; GW 34: N/A points

Dele Alli and Tottenham will take on Crystal Palace ahead of Spurs’ weekend clash with Arsenal, but the midfielder is one of the best in the Premier League this season. He has scored goals and created them from midfield; and for many managers is a no-brainer when it comes to FPL each gameweek.

Alli missed the last North London Derby, but will make a huge mark on this one as Spurs attempt to keep pace with league leaders Chelsea.
