Everton’s Romelu Lukaku could be on his way to German giants Bayern Munich. The striker is destined to leave Goodison Park this summer, and Bayern have entered the race to sign the Belgian.
Lukaku has been with Everton since 2013, scoring 141 goals for the Toffees. Although his contract doesn’t expire until 2019, the club look likely to cash in on the 24-year-old this summer as he has intimated he would like to move clubs. Lukaku is valued around £42 million, but could fetch Everton far more if a bidding war breaks out.
Manchester United had been linked with Lukaku as the Red Devils reportedly offered Wayne Rooney in a swap deal. According to one report, Lukaku’s father is interested in his son joining Bayern Munich over Manchester United.
