Chaos at Arsenal as Wenger exit rumours increase

There is chaos at Arsenal as Arsene Wenger exit rumours have increased following the terrible transfer window the Gunners endured. The Gunners signed just two players in the summer – Sead Kolasic and Alexandre Lacazette – while several targets went without being purchased.

Meanwhile Arsenal sold several players including Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to Liverpool while being unable to offload others who had been told they could leave previously.

Wenger exit rumours have increased as the manager has been moved to fourth on Sky Bet’s manager sack list. The Arsenal manager is placed at 16/1 odds as the Premier League gets ready for week 4.

At the beginning of the transfer window, it is claimed that Wojciech Szczesny, Olivier Giroud, Jack Wilshere, Mohamed Elneny, Kieran Gibbs, Calum Chambers, Carl Jenkinson and Chuba Akpom were all told they could leave Arsenal. The club was interested in moving on players to open up space in the wage bill for the signings of key newcomers and to re-sign Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez. In the end, only Szczesny, Gibbs and Jenkinson left the Emirates.

Meanwhile Arsenal had a late £92 million bid for Monaco’s Thomas Lemar fall apart at the last minute, which prevented Sanchez from moving to Manchester City.

Not only have Wenger exit rumours increased, but calls for fans to look closer at owner Stan Kroenke’s other sports teams have been made. Kroenke’s NFL (St. Louis Rams), NBA (Denver Nuggets), MLS (Colorado Rapids) and NHL (Colorado Avalanche) franchises are amongst the worst in their respective sports leagues. At the same time, Kroenke has made millions of dollars off of each. Gunners’ supporters should be aware of the man that controls their club.

Arsenal takes on Bournemouth on Saturday in a must win match to keep supporters on side. A loss and the Gunners’ hopes of returning to the Champions League will take a drastic hit.
