Pogba spoke to Telefoot after Manchester United’s win about his relationship with Mourinho and that there are no issues between the two.

“There is no problem with Mourinho. It’s not me who picks the team. Ask the coach if you want to know why I play less. I respect his choices,” Pogba stated.

Since Pogba was benched by Mourinho and criticised by the manager, rumours have been strong that Pogba would leave Manchester United. It was believed he would join Real Madrid in the summer after just two years at Old Trafford due to the fallout between Mourinho and Pogba.

Despite his comments about the Paris Saint-Germain star he insisted that didn’t mean he was looking to move on from Old Trafford any time soon.

More speculation over Pogba’s future rose when he spoke about his desire to play with Neymar.

“It’s too early to talk about a departure from United, the situation can change.”
Manchester United’s win on Saturday took them ahead of Liverpool and back into second place. The Red Devils will play city rivals Manchester City in their next Premier League match.
