Chelsea to re-sign Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah in £175m transfer deal

Chelsea are ready to re-sign Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah for £175 million, according to the Daily Star.

Salah left Chelsea in 2015 and joined Fiorentina on loan. After starring with the Serie A side, Salah joined Roma on loan for the 2015-16 season before signing with Giallorossi on a permanent deal in the summer of 2016.

Salah joined Liverpool for £35m last summer and has since scored 32 goals in 36 Premier League matches.

The Egyptian’s form has reportedly convinced Chelsea to attempt to re-sign the player they sold for around £15m. Real Madrid are also being linked to Salah. However, it is unknown if they would be willing to agree to a swap deal with the Reds. Liverpool could be enticed into selling Salah if they could get Gareth Bale or another Madrid star in his place.

The Daily Star also reported both Manchester City and Bayern Munich are ready to pay Liverpool £175m for Salah’s services.
