Manchester United are facing an all-new injury crisis ahead of Tuesday night’s Champions League fixture with Juventus. The Red Devils trail Juventus by two points in Group H and need to pick up points to keep pace with the Bianconeri.

Alexis Sanchez is set to miss Tuesday night’s match at Old Trafford. The forward will sit out the game alongside Diogo Dalot, Marouane Fellaini, Jesse Lingard, Scott McTominay, and Phil Jones. Manager Jose Mourinho will curse his luck to be without important first-team players once again.
Sanchez did play in the closing minutes against Chelsea. However, Mourinho has revealed the Chilean is not fit enough to take part against Juventus.
“The players you saw are the players that are available,” Mourinho said in preparation for Tuesday’s game. “Nothing to hide and Alexis is out.”
The Red Devils drew with Chelsea at the weekend after leading for much of the second half. Ross Barkley’s 96th-minute strike gave the Blues a share of the spoils.
“Against Chelsea, there were contradictions in our feelings because by one side everybody was happy with the collective performance but not the result, so there were contradictory feelings,” Mourinho explained.
Manchester United have won just once in their last six matches in all competitions. That one win came against Newcastle and it saw the Red Devils battle back from two goals down to win 3-2.
Juventus have their own injury problems to worry about as striker Mario Mandzukic, former Liverpool midfielder Emre Can, and midfielder Sami Khedira will take no part in the game.
Mourinho spoke about Juventus’ strength and ability to win the European Cup during his press conference.
“Juventus have a lot to offer and an extra year with the same coach and structure,” Mourinho said.
“They have won seven titles on the trot and a really special player who makes a real difference.
“They are more than a contender for the Champions League.”
Manchester United have not played Juventus since 2003.
