Red Devils injury list

Manchester United could be without striker Marcus Rashford due to a shoulder injury. The attacker will undergo a late fitness test and may still make the team.

Centre-back Chris Smalling is also set to undergo a late fitness test in hopes of making Manchester United’s squad against Huddersfield. Meanwhile, Jesse Lingard and Phil Jones will also take late fitness tests prior to the fixture as both are struggling with knocks.

Back-up goalkeeper Sergio Romero will miss the fixture due to a knee injury. Mason Greenwood is also set to miss the fixture due to a knock.

Eric Bailly and Romelu Lukaku are also on the shelf and will miss the team’s visit to Yorkshire.

Huddersfield injury list

Huddersfield could be without Aaron Mooy and Ben Hamer. The two could still make Jan Siewert’s team in time for kick off.

Mathias Jorgensen is suffering from the flu. He is a doubt to make Siewert’s starting XI. Meanwhile, Laurent Depoitre is due to take a fitness test.

Huddersfield vs. Manchester United head to head

Manchester United and Huddersfield have met four times in the last two seasons in the Premier League and FA Cup. The Red Devils have secured three wins against Huddersfield but did lose against the Terriers on their first visit to the John Smith’s Stadium last season.

Manchester United are winless in eight of their last 10 matches with seven of those games ending in losses. Solskjaer is aiming to end the season on a high note before the Red Devils go into an offseason that is bound to see changes to the squad.
